Global Dimension: PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE
Day Conference: 22 June 2009
Friends House, 173 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ
Aims of conference
* To provide participants with practical examples of how the global dimension can be embedded and addressed within the curriculum and through other national agendas.
* To explore how the Global Dimension can support schools on responding to other key priorities including community cohesion, raising participation and attainment, sustainable schools and Every Child Matters.
* To showcase the diversity of international work taking place in local schools and via the School Linking Network.
"The conference succeeded in showing examples of how the two agendas of the global dimension and "Standards" need to be in sync for a school to be truly outstanding."
